Hualalai Resort requires Contractors, Vendors, and Property Managers to obtain a permit before work is initiated on Hualalai Resort Property. If requesting work be performed at your property, please refer your Contractor, Vendor, or Property Manager to the Contractor / Vendor page on this website prior to work commencing.

COQUI FROG CONTROL

The coqui frog was accidentally introduced to Hawai’i from Puerto Rico around 1988. Not only are Coqui frogs a major noise nuisance, but they also pose a threat to all of Hawaii’s ecosystem. HANA HOU RECYCLING

The Hualālai Community Association supports a Zero-Waste philosophy and encourages ALL of its owners and guests to participate in Weekly Curbside Recycling. Recycling pickup service in Hualālai is offered by a community service organization called Hana Hou Recycling.

We live and play on a beautiful island and we want to keep it that way. Hawai’i Island has limited resources and limited space. Our landfills are reaching capacity and recycling and re-purposing items keep unnecessary waste out of them. Please help to Malama ’Aina (care for the land) and keep unnecessary waste out of our landfills by recycling.
