Every vehicle also needs a current vehicle insurance certificate. You will be asked for the expiration date of each policy.
When to Apply
New permits can be applied for at any time. Every permit expires on 30 April or 31 October, and renewals open on 1 April and 1 October — the same dates for every class.

How to Apply
- Choose Your Permit TypeContractor or vendor, or property manager. The classification decides your insurance requirement.
- Gather Your DocumentsA current certificate of general liability insurance with its expiration date, and a current insurance certificate for every vehicle. Property managers also need the signed Homeowner Assignment and Approval form.
- Complete the ApplicationCompany details, authorized signers, every vehicle with its driver and plate, your signature. Your progress is saved as you go.
- Wait for ReviewThe office checks your insurance and vehicle details and emails you if anything is missing.
- Collect Your PassApproved vehicles are issued permit numbers by email. Pay the fee and collect the passes in person at the Association office.

Once your application is approved you will receive your permit numbers by email. Passes are collected in person at the Association office. Bring photo identification.
What happens if my insurance lapses?
General liability and vehicle insurance must stay current for as long as the permit is valid. Tell the Association office as soon as a policy lapses or changes, and bring an updated certificate of insurance to the office.
